Prairie Camp,
Sat. Sept. 5.
               3½ hrs. to Mt. Hardisty Camp.  The trail did not seem so bad as when we went down.  To our great surprise the weather was bright and sunny.  I could hardly believe my eyes when I woke and looked out of the tent and saw blue sky.

After having the ore tested, it was determined to contain high levels of copper and lead.
