Mollie Adams Diary of her Journey in the Canadian Rockies, September 9, 1908

Wednesday, Sept. 9.
               Lots of fresh snow down to below the timber line.  A Scotch-misty day.  Travelled 2¾ hrs. and camped at 11.15 at Developing Camp I, crossing the Su-Wapta a little below Developing Camp II, and thereby escaping the bad hole that Brownie got stuck in.  There has been a bunch of caribou up the Su-Wapta this summer – five or six of them, two calves.
